Still if you want to test Rebel against CB engines (which i for one would
prefer) you would have to use to auto232 solution. There are many bad things to
be said about windows (as opposed to DOS or linux) but one thing i REALLY like
about it is that it is easy to use and under optimal circumstances it gives the
user more options on the fly. Since Rebel is going "Windows" it would be nice to
see it support all the conveniences of the windows inviornment, thus enabling
it to run as a fully functional WB/UCI engine under all the CB (or atleast the
latest CB) GUI's.

Don't get me wrong i have always followed Rebel with great interest and will buy
the windows version as soon as it hits the stores, no matter how good/bad the
windows implementation turns out.

The only reason that i would like to see Rebel (and as many other engines as
possible) support WB/UCI is that it gives the user choices that CB,CP etc does
not, and it is up to me where i want to have "my" engine run.
