I'm running Rebel 12 pre-release with Windows 2000/ 256 MB RAM / Dual Duron 1.3 GHz. I noticed that it often crashes windows and I get a blue screen with an error message (Driver IRQL not less or equal ...). Is it due to the larger swap-file needed to run it? I also configured it and got it running under FRITZ GUI as an UCI engine using Wb2UCI adaptor, but I can't figure out how to show the "Extras" in the Fritz GUI when loading the engine, as it happens with the CP 5.3 interface, can someone help me? Is the logfile helpful? I also noticed that as Loex stated in Lokasoft's homepage Rebel's time control isn't accurate when running under Winboard (and under Fritz GUI), so running fast-time control matchs isn't yet possible, but... it's a pleasure to see Rebel running under Windows! :-) Next I'll try to run it under UCI/Shredder "Classic" GUI, and under ERT. Here's my Wb2Uci.eng file: ;---------------------------------------------------------------- ; Rebel 12 beta-1 [ENGINE] Name=Rebel 12.b1 Author=Ed Schroder Filename=Wb2Uci.exe [OPTIONS] Program=e:\Tiger\engines\Rebel12pre-release\rebel12.exe InitString=xboard HashCommand=w2 ShowThinkingMove=true Logfile=true Visible=Ponder,Hash,ShowThinkingMove,Logfile ;---------------------------------------------------------------- A.
