Presumably, the greatest genius of a chess program today would be Shredder 7.04, Junior 8, CM9K, or Fritz 8. Possibly also Tiger 15 or Rebel 12, (or even Hiarcs 8?). What do I mean by genius? That means a few things, like 1).Feeling of an aura in the moves it makes (unexpectedness as well as being extremely potent at the same time). 2).Top elo scorrer 3).Greatest discernable beauty of tactics and/or positional knowledge which makes deep sense, also, combined with results, I mean "Not just a pretty face"! It might JUST be that a lower scorrer seems like a greater genius, even possibly a non-comercial free program! Opinions please, but please state reasons/descriptions etc. Say whatever you REALLY think. S.Taylor
