Thanks, I must have a momentary lapse of reason there.  Anyway I made the change
and am now getting at least one more move in that line-- but I found out why
there aren't any more.... It is failing low (is that what you call it when there
are no moves with score > alpha?) and so we never find a "best move" to store
into the hash...   In cases like this, should I simply not store a move?
