This indicates 25 rating >>points difference. > >Have you any results of long games between these two programs? > > Jari In order to test the adaption of a 32Bit A.96 chessbase engine, I have performed 2 matches (25 min/game on K6/233) using the Junior-5 GUI. 1st (both engines using the Junior-5 book) Comet A.96 - Crafty 15.19 11:9 2nd (both engines using the Fritz-5 book) Comet A.96 - Crafty 15.19 8:12 Note that this however is a pure engine comparison. Things may be different when both programs use their own books and Crafty uses table bases. Uli
