You haven't understood much as it seems. There are still easy ways for IMs and
GMs to draw vs the comp. And ELO 2500 players know so much more about chess that
claiming programs playing on ELO 2700 level is just what we shall believe,
intended by the sponsors and programmers.
Visit a first league championship of your country and follow their analysis.
Then you will see what I mean.
