Here's a list www.aarontay.per.sg/Winboard/interface.html (Look at the colomn that says ICS) Then see what protocols the software supports. For example, Arena supports both UCI and Winboard, so both are capable of being run on FICS through Arena. Xboard/Winboard on the example does Winboard/xboard engines only. Arena is probably easiest to setup for a freeware product,just point and click.
