The computer may not allow the opening that it allows in comp-comp games.
I am also not sure that better hardware cannot help Junior.

It is possible that a program can still find good moves with wrong evaluation.
The important thing is to evaluate which move is better and if the proram also
overevaluate it's chances with the right moves then it may choose the right
moves.
