You MIGHT have matured and become more experienced than then, without realizing it. At any rate, if as you say, that doesn't say much for computers, when they allow anti-computer opposition. I rarely play against a program recently, but when I go against even older programs (or genius 7 which I have set up here) they ingeniously cope with everything. Recently it did an extremely impressive sequence in a casual game (from my part) which 20 years ago a top GM might have become famous for! I havn't put my mind to anti-computer playing in recent years. I try to face the real open battle. But it's hopeless anyway. I think the same almost goes for the top GM's. S.Taylor
