 The Crafty SPEC benchmark correlates best to chess performance. And it seems
like an Opteron has a 20% performance advantage over the current Athlons at the
same frequency. That is for 32 bit code. A 64 bit executable should add to that.
Making the coming 2 GHz Opteron run pretty fast indeed.
