Hi all, My engine is playing on the ICC under Ziggy2-- it is doing better than I expected, but not as good as most engines. Anyway, once in a while, it will be in a winning position and then blunder. I am not talking a "oops I let him set me up for a fork in 9 moves", its more of a "I just hung my rook or queen" blunder. The eval for the "blunderful" move is positive, but as soon as the opponent snatches up the blundered piece, it drops down to more "in line" values. Has anyone ever witnessed such things while developing their own engine? Any suggestions on where this bug may be lurking? Thanks, Rick
