If you start up your PC, does it recognize your HD as primary master, your DVD as secondary master and your CDRW as secondary slave? Are the jumpers set correctly? I guessyou connected the flatcable from the HD to your primary IDE on your mobo, and the other flatcable must be running from the DVD to the CD to the secondary IDE. The sequence is not important, the jumpers at the back determine if it's a slave or a master device. Are your CD/DVD visible in the device manager? Have you tried removing them and restarting Windows? Good luck. J.
