The last 3 man versus machines is hard to compare because of different match conditions. Deep Fritz used 900Mhz 8 way Xeon, ISNT allowed to change its engine parameters and Kramnik was given the exact program 6 months in advance. The match was drawn. Deep Junior used 1900Mhz 4 way Xeon (this is what I remembered) Kasparov got to play the program before the match (although not that big significance since whatever Garry observed about the program's weakness and style cannot be guaranteed that it will be repeated since the program's engine parameters was allowed to be changed every game. The match was drawn. Hiarcs used "only" one 2.4Ghz Athlon, I dont know if its allowed to change its engine parameters. I dont think Bareev got a copy before the match. The match was drawn. Which program do you think has the most impressive performance?
