Dhrystone MIPS: 4MHz Z80: 0.052 4.77MHz 8088: 0.23 8MHz 8086: 0.44 http://www.netlib.org/performance/html/dhrystone.data.col0.html So the 8088 performed 4.5x faster than the Z80 and it looks to be only about 12% slower than the 8086 per MHz. -Tom
