ChessAssistant 7.1 has been released and is discussed in the forecoming item of the German computer chess magazine CSS. It looks as if it has more functions than ChessBase 8.0. But one has to get used to the usage and handling. Some functions are hidden in menus one would not expect it to be there etc. The manual also lacks several points. So my idea is: Wouldn't it be useful to exchange knowledge and experience between the users and raise a ChessAssistant User Group? Maybe as board, maybe as mailing list, whatsoever. I'd think that it would need at least 3 guys to setup, maintain and administrate. Probably this will become voluntary work. So who jumps on it and is willing to build it up? Or is there no interest in such a group?
