In short, the texts in English were poorly communicated. I have heard this more than once, and it seems the English translation really sucks. The German version is fine though and Nimzowitch has a dry sense of humour, and often is very sarcastical - maybe this doesn't translate well. Anyway, I still thought "My System" was dull reading and some of his concepts were definitely over my head ( especially "overprotection"). But "Praxis of my System" is really just a great book and one of my top 10 ever. Outstanding games and comments - I don't know if I really learned anything reading it, but I had a _very_ good time and read it several times. Kind regards, Peter
