Are you sure Rebel uses only 1 MB for hash?, my Windows2000 taskmanager says he
use 52MB of memory (W6 is set) during the games.
There are no games lost on time here, that seems only to happen if I set
ponder=on.
Here is an part of the logfile where Rebel 12 send an wrong result:
956.500: < [start] rtime call, rsal now : 38
956.500: < move h6h5
956.500: < nodes 14
956.500: < pb start (1)

956.532: < spare time 9502
956.532: < spare otime 14907
956.782: < [start] rtime call, rsal now : 45
956.782: < 0-1 {White mates}
956.782: < pb start (1)
956.782: > result 0-1 {White mates}
956.782: > quit
0.000: - Starting server: Rebel.exe w6 Beta1.eng
0.000: - Priority class set to normal
0.000: - Thread priority set to normal
0.016: < W e l c o m e t o R E B E L 12.0
0.016: <
Where "956.782: < 0-1 {White mates}" must be 1-0 {White mates} of course :)
>2) Under which interface have you been running this tournament?
WinBoard 4.2.6 using Jori's WinBoard Tourney Manager (WBTM) to set it up.
>3) What's the story with ponder=on/off, is the tournament played on 1 or 2 PC's?
At one "Dual" PC with 2 P3-1266Mhz cpu's using this InBetween.ini for Rebel to
set time control properly and translate the command "hard" to "easy" to set
ponder=off:
====================
[InBetween]
CommandLine := Rebel.exe w6 Beta1.eng
Log := logfile.log
Debug := 0
TerminateHard := true
[Client2Server]
xboard := xboard\nnew\neasy\npost\n
level 40 5 0 := setlevel 1 40 300 40 300\n
hard := easy
[Server2Client]
=================
Groeten,
Leo.
