i find that buying anything on Ebay is iffy at best
generally ,the prices are pretty good but if you get something that dosent work
right or is not exactly as described in the auction,you're pretty much stuck
holding the bag
specially when it comes to 20 year old chess computers which are very fragile
items with an enormously high defect rate to begin with
i would rather take my chances buying old chess computers from the readers of
these pages
prices will be higher but so will the level of care of the computer because the
readers here are all interested in chess and would have been a bit more tender
to these fragile babies of yesteryear..
