hey eran, i am hard-put to believe that innovation and creativity is an attack on traditional chess. I won't wear 3-d glasses myself because i cant imagine that adding extra weight to the front of my head for a five or six hour duration could enhace my tournament chess experience. But short of analogizing FIDE to the taliban, who blew up important things they disagree with, there is no reason to think a new chess would supplant classical chess-- unless of course it is better than chess ( and nobody thinks so yet.)
