In der ersten Partie gegen Rebel 12 DOS final lief es gar nicht gut, so dass
eine klägliche Niederlage resultierte.
In the first game vs Rebel 12 DOS I chose an unlucky opening line and was
defeated by the program of Ed Schröder.
My results (120'/40) so far:

matches I was indeed unhappy with the position after the opening / Das erste
Mal in meinen Matches, wo ich mit der Stellung nach der Eroeffnung gar nicht
zufrieden war} 10... Bf5 {18 minutes for this move is much too long but a
proof of my feelings / 18 Min fuer diesen Zug sind zuviel, indessen ein Beweis
fuer meineUnzufriedenheit} 11. Be2 Nd7 12. O-O Bd6 13. Nh4 Be6 {Perhaps better
is 13...Bg6 but in that case, my move 10...Bf5 would have made no sense /
Vielleicht ist 13...Lg6 besser, aber dann haette ja mein Zug 10...Lf5 keinen
Sinn gemacht} 14. Bd3 O-O-O 15. Nf5 Bc7 16. Rfc1 Rde8 {Preparing the maneouvre
Nd7-f8-g6-e7 but this all needs too much time / Zwecks Vorbereitung von
Sd7-f8-g6-e7, doch ist dies alles zu langsam} 17. b4 {
Rebel 12 DOS plays very consequently / Rebel 12 DOS spielt sehr konsequent}
17... b5 {With the hope to keep the position closed, but this is indeed a bad
move that makes things easy for my opponent / Mit der Hoffnung, die Stellung
geschlossen zu halten. In der Tat aber ein schlechter Zug, der die Sache fuer
Rebel 12 einfach macht} 18. a4 bxa4 {My initial idea was 18...a6 but to my
horror I suddenly noticed the tactical blow 19.axb5 axb5 20.Nxb5 and white
wins / Meine urspruengliche Idee war 18...a6, aber zu meinem Entsetzen
entdeckte ich ploetzlich die taktische Widerlegung 19.axb5 axb5 20.Sxb5 und
Weiss gewinnt} 19. Nxa4 {White has now such a strong position that it will
hardly be possible for me to save the game / Der weisse Vorteil ist bereits so
gross, dass es mir kaum mehr moeglich ist, die Partie zu retten} 19... Kb7 20.
b5 {And here I again invested 20 minutes of thinking time, just to convince
myself that white has already a won position. Nevertheless I wanted to see
this in practice / Und hier investierte ich nochmals 20 Minuten Bedenkzeit,
nur um festzustellen, dass Weiss schon jetzt eine gewonnene Stellung hat.
Trotzdem wollte ich es mir noch zeigen lassen.} 20... cxb5 21. Bxb5 Bxf5 22.
Bxd7 {The most easiest winning way / Der schnellste Gewinnweg} 22... Bxd7 23.
Nc5+ Kc6 24. Ne6+ Kd6 25. Nxc7 Rb8 26. Rxa7 Bc6 {My last hope but Rebel 12 DOS
does not give me the slightest chance / Meine letzte Hoffnung, doch laesst mir
Rebel 12 DOS keine Chance} 27. Ra6 Kxc7 28. Rcxc6+ {As I cannot avoid further
loss of material I resigned / Da ich weiteren Materialverlust nicht mehr
verhindern kann, gab ich hier auf} 1-0
