I agree completely here. I'm not exactly a C++ veteran, but I've had numerous
high school and college courses in C++, and I've been tinkering with chess
programs for years now, and I still come across gotcha's all the time. It's
really amazing how difficult it can be to learn how to use some features of the
language correctly.
