Larry,
  Your comments on these programs  most useful. I am about a 2000-2100  player,
but need work on new openings.
  I am looking for a software equivalent of Fine's "Ideas Behind the chess
Openings."  I have heard that the "Middlegame" CD was promising.
 Can you or anyone else recommend program(s) to build/extend an openings
repertoire?
