These programs are newer than 1997.

For every position and every move it is possible to develop a program that is
going to play the relevant move.

I believe also that for every good move it is possible to generate modified
crafty to play that move when the only modification is modifying weight in the
evaluation(you only need to replace numbers in Crafty by different numbers)
