I own a NOVAG AMBER portable it is estimated to have a Strength 2294 USCF, I find this to be quite a good portable, and I take this most places with me when going out. It has multiple Style openings library : Active, Passive, Tournament. You can open using its opening book or you can turn it off. It has Coaching features which include 8 built in classical mate studies 8 user-selectable and game playing modes for your choice of different playing styles. It is for experienced to Club strength players I would recommend it for. But for a best I have laid my hands on I would buy the NOVAG SAPPHIRE II, which is a great little machine.
