CB8, like CB lite, adds a lot of convenience.  You can dispense with your wooden
chess pieces entirely.  Just throw them into the fireplace on a cold winter
morning.  : )

Incidentally, if you have a large database of games, especially if they are
annotated, you can use CB8 to see what others have done in opening, middlegame,
and endgame.

Chess people without a Chessbase or Chess Assistant database management program
are still living in the dark ages.
