Subject: ? about majestic chess engine

I was wondering if this new chess program's engine is the same strength as
w-chess 2000 or better. I read about program and felt that if it was designed
for beginners then what would the need be to use such a strong engine.

Of all the engines I've played none has beaten me up as bad as w-chess and that
was playing on a p120 I think! I remember the days of w-chess, GM's had problems
in 30min game or less.

These days most have 1.2ghz box, how can they dream of competing now? I must
admit I would love to have the chance to rematch this engine but as my system is
2.2ghz I also do feel I have much chance:(
