The way the SSDF is set up now, the numbers are begging for comparison to a
human metric. We can say human ratings and computer ratings are not comparable,
but then, why set the list up in this way?

So, some arbitrary metic would definitely be better.

Perhaps the list should be set up so that the highest rated program gets a score
of zero, and all the other programs get negative numbers. That way, it would
immediately be known how many points below the leader other programs are.

The list would look something like this:

Program       Rating
Shredder         0
Fritz          -50
Junior         -80
The King       -85
Hiarcs        -100

or whatever...so right now, we would want to subtract about 2800 points from the
ratings, whatever it needed to put the leader at 0.
