I've been told that it is a Winboard v2 engine with some modifications for our GUI (such as copy protection). However, I have no idea if the engine is 100% Winboard compliant, or if any of those modifications (other than the copy protection, of course) will make the engine at all useable outside of the Majestic Chess GUI. jm
