Go up one level in this thread

this is what we now call class???????

I replied 2084 and he, not looking very happy, asked why I
>didn't write it down in front of the board next to my name. ..
He then stated that if he had known I was rated

the man is rated 800 points higher even if it is a simul
so he offers to reset the game from the beginning?
play the game!!
fight the good fight!!
he would have played the opening differently if the opponent was rated 90 points
lower???

i can just see Fischer or Alekhine doing this
they would have hunkered down and played the game out till the end!
my god..

this is an absolute disgrace let alone classy..

i guess we are at the point with Kasaprov, if he dosent act like a spoiled child
waving his fists in the air and jumping up an down we will call it classy?
where is this mans sporting spirit???
so what if he did lose one game(and chances are he would have won anyway.i am
sure his endgame technique would have brutalized the player)?
my god this is lame
pffft

absolute disgrace in my opinion

Shameful Regards
Steve
