I cannot help very much except to say that Fritz 5.32 does not do "sparring mode" in a useful way. In "sparring mode", Fritz 5.32 clobbers the snot out of me, and it usually forces me into early resignation. If I survive for a long time, but I fall behind on the evaluation, then Fritz will OCCASIONALLY (not every game) leave me a small tactical shot to find, but even if I find it, it usually is not enough to even up the game. In other words, it is not so much "sparring mode" as "Fritz is toying with you mode".
