Subject: What is wrong with my junior8

      My junior8 has a very strange defect: several times in a game and often
     till to the end of the game:
     the analysis rate falls to 0 kN/s and depth can't go beyond 3
      in this state , junior8 make moves "of depth 3" and a "deep" engine in a
match takes profit of it and wins
      I have an example where ,because "depth 3" on one move junior8 fell into
        a trap that allowed to its opponent (junior7) to lead a mating attack
       as bright as a human GMI;
        then in analysis from depth 5 or 7 junior8 "sees" the trap and don't
      fall into it ; and it takes only a few seconds
        this is quite specific to junior8 some engines have "fall of attention"
       but never so deep and so lasting
          with this defect junior8 becomes quite useless since it must lose to
         any aggressive engine and it's impossible to measure its true strength
     Is it an isolated defect ? or the sign of a deeper trouble?
       to those who are interested I can send some more material
      Friendly Yours
