I tested Crafty 19.00 recently on an AMD Athlon 2000+XP (1.67Ghz) and here are
my results...

Test 1 - 938,832 NPS (54 seconds)

After shutting down all the crap (services) that Win XP has running, I performed
the test again...

Test 2 - 966,643 NPS (52 seconds) That 27,801 NPS faster!

Crafty was set to use 64Mb hash

Same Crafty running on my Athlon 650 gets 383,705 NPS (131 seconds).

Cheers,
Tom
