I can see your point, however, if you are putting up money to enter the
tournament,  'your' money is on the line, so a prize money should be able to be
won, even if it is 50% of what humans would

I mean, you have to take a few days off work, drive there, *maybe* upgrade your
system, gas money, entry fee
...i mean...prize money? even a bit yes I think so
