new commands
"intensity <1-10000>" run your high end power pc at full force at the 10000
level ,where crfaty has GM strength on high end computers - or take your machine
down to 1/10,000th strength ... the intensity level is dynamic and will take
into account your time control and your machine speed ...and will play its moves
normally ...later on I should be able you rough approximations - but each
machine will be unique in how this applied -e.g., a faster machine set at 100
will be stronger than a slower machine set at 100, the idea here is that can
you make chess progress in more defined increments (you would have 10,000
increments)

on my machine crafty does this at the intensity 1 level.

that's right 181 nps - just like a weak hand held unit from the 80's

"lazy <0-200>" adjust the "lazy cutoff" thresholds
"beta <-10000 to 10000> adjust the root alpha - beta window - the new
personality "philidor" has good sucess with the initial root alpha/beta window
set at -10000 (which I don't completely understand why )
"philidor" took 10/18 from Ruffian and and 6/10 from Shredder 7.04 on my machine
Profile, Blitz:5' 0
1 Crafty 19.04 ST 2700 +49 16.0/28
2 Ruffian 1.0.5 2700 -38 8.0/18
3 Shredder 7.04 2700 -70 4.0/10
this is a typical winning game - a little behind out of the opening with a
strong finish....
dual 1.7 Ghz - each engine on one cpu with pondering on and 128 Meg Ram -
