I found discussions about programming languages, algorithms and paradigms absolutely on topic here - isn't it a chess programmers forum? The size of a tree is an indication of the public interest. Often huge threads imply some personal insults. Not the case here, a very constructive and funny thread. There was really knowledge transfer which may lead to better chess programs in the future ;-) Regards, Gerd btw. just returned from Dortmund, puhh... seems to be not a good place for Vishy Anand so far.
