I spent a lot of time examining the game with Fritz 8, as I knew something was wrong as soon as I looked at the game. I used default settings, I checked both with and without Book, and drew the logical conclusion that this game couldn't happen, others will too. Let me put it this way, if Fritz 8 played those horrible moves at the start of the game...then it's not Fritz 8, or your computer is very unstable. This game couldn't happen under normal conditions. It's that simple.
