OK. I'm afraid I'm going to get into this. Nowhere in Uri's original post do I find any indiction that he said "Oh, the program beated the kid in only 22 moves, what it results very funny for me.", or anything that implied this. Let us go through the words of the original post sentence by sentence... >>Movei game against an human opponent This is a simple non-biased title. It is a fact. >>The opponent is the best Israeli player who is younger than 11.5 years old This is a simple quoted fact. It has no spin (or bias) on it. >>The game was played in the forum of the israeli chess organization. This is a simple quoted fact. It has no spin (or bias) on it. >>The Israeli rating of the opponent is 1894 This is a simple quoted fact. It has no spin (or bias) on it. >>Time control is 48 hours per move but the opponent chose not to use them >>and played 21 moves in the first day so the game was finished in 2 days. This is a simple quoted fact. It has no spin (or bias) on it. >>It seems that he played this correspondence game like a regular game. This is a derived supposition, which follows fairly resonably from the previous sentence. It has no spin (or bias) on it. >>Movei is going to play in this tournament against some other opponents: >>rating:2186,1969,1703,1678,1668,1638 This is a simple quoted fact. It has no spin (or bias) on it. >>I do not know how much of them are going to use computer to help them but it >>seems that most players if not all of them are not going to use computers. This is informatory. Uri is in a position to know. It has no spin (or bias) on it. >>Movei is using only 1 minute per move on 733 mhz computer(not mine and >>there is another person who is responsible for doing the moves) This is a simple quoted fact. It has no spin (or bias) on it. Then the game was quoted... which is a fact, with no bias. ... Nowhere does Uri say that he thinks that this is an accomplishment to be proud of, or does he put forward a gloating tone. I can only conclude that you have put more into what you read than was actually there. Cheers, Tim.
