While Kasparov might not be all that reliable when it comes to computer chess
he is wery frank when it comes to his own game. And if you would like to get
some corroboration on this hypothesis you would do well to pick up the Chess
Stars book 'Super Tournaments 2002'. It's a book where all the super tournament
games are annotated by f.ex: Khalifman, Sakaev and Shipov. And you will find
that the top GMs of the world err quite often in their games. Several times per
game is not unusual.

It usually depends on the strength and playing style of the opponent. Against
cunning aggressive high rated players such games are rare. While I myself have a
collection of such games they are the exception rather than the rule. And it
also depends on opening choice. My pride and joy is a perfect game as black
against the Rb1 variation in the exchange Grunfeld against a *very* strong
player.
