Subject: Very Rebel Annoyed

Author: Micheal Cummings

I Purchased two Rebel 10 Packages for Freinds from Gambitsoft in Germany only to
get my two freinds yesterday telling me that they do not work, nothing, NADA.

I then tried both on my computer and they both just crash, there is a porgram on
the disk, but installing it you would think that nothing was there.
I have Rebel 10 on my computer and I then went and installed my copy onto their
system to see if their system was the problem, nope my copy worked fine on both
of their systems. Though I did not purchase my copy from Gabitsoft.

After many tries of email by me, and the two of them over the past three days to
Gambitsoft I have yet to hear anything back. And to top it all off cutting the
price by 50% after only two weeks in release is beyond a Joke, and would like to
know if sellers are going to refund the money.

Firsty does anyone else have a problem with their copy of Rebel 10 when they
bought it, do they even have any QA testing done.

And as for dropping the price by 50%, I live in Australia, and the chess store
down here recieved an email saying that prices have fallen by 50%, but nothing
about the packages that he has already bought off them being refunded 50% of the
price he bought them for.

I find this whole episode disgraceful, and still cannot believe that Rebel cut
their prices by 50% two weeks after release, knowing full well that in the first
few weeks there was going to be a great demand for their program. So I would
assume knowing that they will not be refunding a anything.

Lets hope Rebel can fix their whole mess up. And I hope I can get Gambitsoft to
reply back to me about their faulty software, one disk not working I can
understand, but two means something more shady in my book. It all seems a bit
shady to me. And I am very annoyed with both Gabitsoft and Rebel.

Lets hope for a speedy fix to this mess.
