Subject: Big Blue?

I have noticed a lot of non-computer-chess-nerd friends refer to Deep Blue as
"Big Blue" quite a few times, and I usually correct them. Today when I corrected
someone, they told me that one of the early versions of Deep Blue was actually
called Big Blue, but I've never heard this.

Was Deep Blue ever called Big Blue?
