In Java-Chess, you could simply copy your graphics into the proper subdirectory
and rebuild the package. But I guess it's too complicated for most users...

Anyway:

...and we would appreciate any contributions of good graphics...especially for
the J2ME version, where we lack good pieces for the higher resolutions that
Palm's etc. have.
