Richard, Just because you may have unlimited space for a large database does not infer "bigger is better." Too large and the chess programs that handle them do not perform that well. They do not perform data manipulation as well as MS Access, Alpha4 or Oracle. Concentrate on "quality" rather than "quantity" if you are building one to enhance the performance of your program. Dave
