Thank you for the info. It seems the WAC.EPD file I found on the internet (can't remember where) was different from both WAC and WACNEW. Is there any "official" repository for test suites ? Not that I can trust too much test suites anyway, for example with WAC I get better scores using a truly dumb evaluate (just P=1,N=B=3,R=5,Q=9, nothing else). Also I've the impression that being able to find the best move in a position, especially a tactically critical one doesn't really mean anything about the fact that a program can build such a position during the game.
