Hi Jon,

I am trying to get this to compile under Mac OS X and am having some difficulty.
I removed "bits.s" and all references from the Makefile, and apart from trivial
header changes, it compiled fine... Are the functions defined in "bits.s" not
used anywhere???

As it is, it has been running ../export/makebook -n 10 -o ../export/book.bin
../book/basic.bk
for about ten minutes now, which makes me thing something is wrong.

Thanks,
Rick
