there is always chessbase... but i don't think any software can do you any good
if...

players of your rating level improve most by studying tactics (IMHO - but i'm
not alone with this opinion!). buy yourself a tactics book and solve, solve,
solve. just do it off the diagrams, no need to set up the board etc. if you want
to improve, that is the way to go; you should also study your games to
understand where and why you made mistakes. of course, that means that you have
to go and play serious games too.
