Subject: ChessAssistent and UCI engines

A user of my engine, pointed out to me, that it is practically unusable under CA
7.1. My engine sends "info string ..." after each search to the GUI (as defined
in the UCI protocol). The engine just wants to give some more statistical info
to the user. It works well under the Shredder classic interface. But CA seems to
pop up a message box after each move, that needs some user interaction (clicking
OK). That certainly was not my intention. Is there any way, to switch this
behaviour of CA off?

Shredder Classic will show the info as some additional line inside its analysis
window. My intention was the additional info to be shown like that.

Are there any users of Yace under CA? Do they see the same behaviour? Any users
of Shredder under CA? Do they see the same behaviour? (Shredder UCI - at least
older versions - uses the same method to show some additional info - namely tbe
alloocated search times).

Regards,
Dieter
