If you think this could increase the strength 'much' you can experiment with it yourself. Let one version of Chessmaster play on a uci-gui that allows three timecontrol (ex. Fritz) and install Chessmaster with wb2uci (LevelExtend=failsafe) on this machine. Then set the timecontrol to f.ex: M1: 120'/40 + 60'/g M2: 90'/20 + 30'/20 + 60'/g or (with long booklines) M2: 90'/30 + 30'/10 + 60'/g or M2: your preference. You could use the 'Fritz-adapter' too but since such a test have to be with 'ponder on' this would give the gui control over the ponderering. Odd Gunnar
