Not really. The Opteron is positioned as a server chip, so there is no reason to
have a desktop Windows for that, right. :-)

Just wait until sept 22, when AMD officially releases the (same chip as)
Athlon-64, the desktop model. That would be the perfect occation for Microsoft
to announce its Windows XP-64.
