With counting the impossible boards that are set up with 20 queens and junk like that the most that I had ever recoreded was 55 moves in a regular game. I once modified my program to show just how many moves that it was generating on each turn and as I recall it was around 55 (+,-). I did this so that I would have an idea on just how small I cound make the move array without crashing my program. Bill
