The analogy with stocks is false.

My wife buys a lot of clothes and shoes and so on. When she buys something,
then notices a short time later that it has come down in price, she goes back to
the store and asks for an "adjustment", which means basically that they give her
the difference in the price of the item now and what she paid for it. If they
won't do that, she will probably take the item back to the store and get her
money back.

If I had bought Rebel 10 from a dealer, I would either ask for an adjustment.
If I didn't get it, I would hope that I could return it, since I'd only had it
for two weeks. Then I would buy it again at the lower price.

I've done this with software I've bought in stores. I bought something for $45
and noticed it in another store for $40, so I simply took it back and bought it
at the other store. I've even said so when they ask why I returned it. I don't
see why this is different. Don't the dealers you guys buy from have a return
policy?
